Please join us in the the state-of-the-art John & Nancy Hughes Theater for a memorable evening of personal narrative with some of the finest storytellers in the nation.

If you enjoy all of the great story podcasts, internet series, and public radio programs, you'll be spellbound by a live storytelling performance. It's comparable to the difference between looking at a looking at a photo of skydivers and jumping out of a plane with some.

Live music precedes the stories from 7:30-8:00, featuring the golden voice of singer/songwriter Ali Jackson.

MEGAN HICKS
Award winning spoken word artist out of Philadelphia who has graced the stage at The National Storytelling Festival.

PHILIP EARL JOHNSON
Stage and screen veteran in his 28th year of touring as the award winning solo act MooNiE The Magnificent..

SHEILA ARNOLD JONES
In-demand festival favorite bringing her insightful stories to marquee stages all over the country from her home base in Virginia.

ANNE PURKY
Lake Forest native who has quickly become a frequent fixture on stages across the Chicagoland area.

JENNIFER SAITO
Fitness guru and up-and-coming local storyteller fresh off of a standing ovation at her Story Lab Chicago performance.

MINTON SPARKS
Decorated poet, playwright, and blue collar troubadour hailing from Nashville who has appeared on stages nationwide, often with the likes of John Prine and Ben Folds.

SCOTT WOLDMAN
Resident Playwright at Chicago Dramatists who has represented Chicago in the National Poetry Slam Championships.

SCOTT WHITEHAIR
International teacher, producer, and performer currently running twelve monthly live storytelling events in Chicago.An evening of personal stories.
